Antecedents

PROLENA, the Association for Biomass Energy Promotion, is a nonprofit, non-governmental organization (NGO) whose objective is to promote the modernized use of biomass as a national renewable energy source. 

This organism/organization is legally constituted conforming/according to the laws of the country by Decree No:1690-97, published in the Gazette No. 167  on the 2nd of September 1997.  PROLEÑA, is inscribed in the Book of Registry of Legal Persons as a nonprofit under the permanent number 824 from profile three hundred eight to three hundred and eighteen (308-318)  Book  III of the Department of Registry and Control of the Ministerial Government Association
